Welcome to the doctorate program in Signal Theory and Communications
The Department of Signal Theory and Communications (TSC), Barcelona Tech (UPC), offers a comprehensive PhD programme oriented to the scientific formation in the following areas:.

Communications with physical and radio support.

Study of phenomena associated to the generation, propagation and radiation of electromagnetic signals at frequencies ranging from RF/microwave to optical wavelength.

Basic techniques of the signal processing and its applications in communications, voice and image processing.

Telecommunication systems.
The PhD program has been awarded with the Mention of Quality (2003-2010) and the Mention Towards Excellence of the Spanish Ministry for Education. It also has obtained the grants for mobility, which have allowed carrying out courses by foreign professors with international prestige.
